On behalf of our faculty and staff, I would like to welcome you to our website.  

At Greater Plains, the faculty and staff value the importance of developing relationships and connections with our students in order to provide them with the best possible learning experience.  These relationships help us support our students through the challenges and successes of the school year.  

We look forward to our GP Celebrates ceremonies each month.  It is important to come together as a school to support and recognize each other.  These assemblies are uplifting and a great way to end the month for our faculty, staff, and students.  

One of my goals each week is to be in every classroom.  I think it is important to be in the classes, interacting with the students, and developing relationships with our students.  I also enjoy having lunch with our students.  If your students come home and say that they had lunch with Mr. Ballard, that is a good thing.  I ask students if they’d like to have lunch with me, and they are allowed to bring a friend.  

I am incredibly proud to be the principal of Greater Plains and look forward to all of the great things we will accomplish together.
