2016-2017 ACT Test Dates
The test dates and registration deadlines for the ACTs are as follows:

ACT $42.50
ACT with Essay $58.50
Late registration and standby registration are available as well - consult the www.actstudent.org for the late/stand by registration time frame.......additional fees apply.
Cost for ACT (no writing) $39.50, cost for ACT (with writing) $56.50. It is strongly encouraged by 4 year colleges that students who intend to apply should take the test with writing. Practice booklets are available at www.actstudent.org and in the guidance office.
Please read through the registration and indentification material closely when registering as requirements have changed. Further, no student walk-ins will be accepted on the test day. All students must bring BOTH an acceptable photo ID AND a paper copy of their ticket. Students will be required to upload a photo of themselves during the registration process as well. Stand by, Test center/Test date change requests must be submitted online prior to the test day.
Students with disabilities should see their counselor well in advance of the registration deadline in order to complete necessary paperwork. Fee waivers are available for those students who qualify. Please see your counselor for details.
How do I register?
Registration packets are available in the guidance office or students can register online at www.actstudent.org Cost is $39.50 with no writing and $56.50 with writing test. Additional fees are required for late registration. It is recommended that students who are planning on applying to 4 year schools take the writing test. Students with disabilities should see their counselor prior to registering for additional forms. Students with disabilities who are Seniors who intend to take the test should see their counselor during the summer before their year starts.
Should I take the writing test?
Generally if you think you will be applying to any 4 year schools it is recommended that you take the ACT exam with the writing option.
