How do I run Disk Cleanup for Windows 95/98???

You can run Disk Cleanup to help you free up space on your hard drive. Disk Cleanup searches your drive, and then lists temporary files, Internet cache files,and unnecessary program files that you can safely delete. Using this regularly will keep your PC running a little faster.

 

1.  Double-click MY COMPUTER

2. RIGHT click on the C drive.

3. Click Properties

4. Click DISK CLEANUP

 

5.  Under Files To Delete Select ( by clicking in box next to item)

•  TemporaryInternet Files

•  DownloadedProgram Files

•  Recycle Bin

•  Temporary Files

6.  Click OK

7.  When Disk Cleanup is complete, close all windows.
