How do I run CheckDisk (Windows 2000/XP)???

1. Double click on My Computer

2. Right click on the C drive

3. Left click on Properties

4. Go to the Tools Tab

5. Under Error Checking section click the Check Now button

7. Check the boxes next to Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors

8. Click on Start

9. You will get the following message stating that you have to reboot your PC for the scan to begin. Say “Yes” and restart your PC. The scandisk check will run before your PC gets into Windows. When the check is complete, your PC should automatically boot into Windows.
