How do I convert my Corel Word Perfect documents to Microsoft Word documents???

1. Open Microsoft Word

2. Click on File -> Open

3. Click the “Look In:” drop down box and browse to C:\My Files

4. Click the “Files of type:” drop down box down to “All Files(*,*)”

5. Find and highlight your document, then click “Open”. Double clicking on your document will also open it.

6. Your document should now be open and look similar to when it was open in Corel Word Perfect. Sometimes your formatting may look a little different, but is usually easily fixed. If you have questions, just ask!!

7. Once you have your document opened, you should save it as a Word document. Just click File -> Save As.

8. Browse for where you'd like to save your document by clicking the “Save in” drop down box, give it a name and click Save. We recommend saving your document in My Documents, unless you know how to save it to your drive on the server.
