Why don't I have any sound???

1. Are your speakers plugged into a working power outlet? Try another outlet to be sure.

2. Are your speakers turned on?

3. Is your speaker cable plugged into the correct port on the back of your computer? Unplug and replug to make sure the connection is secure.

4. Is your sound muted? Check the little speaker in the system tray in the lower right corner of the screen near the clock.

5. Try another set of speakers (or headphones in some cases - especially the computer labs.) to determine if the speakers are the problem. If another set works, replace your speakers (or headphones).
