Why cant' I print???

1. Are you printing to the correct printer? Double check before you send your print job.

2. It it plugged in? Unplug and replug it in to make sure it is plugged in securely.

3. Check the power strip, if you have one. Is it turned on and plugged in?

4. Does the outlet work? Try another power outlet to be sure.

5. Go to the printer control panel (START/SETTINGS/PRINTERS) and double-click on the icon for your printer. Are printing jobs stuck in the “queue”? On the PRINTER menu, click “Purge print documents”.

6. Is your printer in “pause” mode? On the Printer menu, de-select “Pause Printing”.

7. Is your printer “offline?” On the Printer menu, de-select “Use printer offline”.

8. Is it a network printer? Are you logged into the network?

9. Can you print a test page?

10. Try rebooting your computer.

11. If number 10 fails, try turning off your computer, unplugging it for 30 seconds to a minute. Replug it in, turn it on and try printing again.
