Projects:
  • Use webcams and instructional website for middle school students to teach nutrition to elementary students via Internet video conferencing.
  • Use digital camcorder and MS MovieMaker to teach information literacy students digital communication
  • Use classroom installed data projector to better motivate and engage math students

Projects:
  • Use tablet PC together with fixed data projector to teach students better note taking for Earth Science
  • Use tablet PC together with fixed data projector to engage students and better illustrate Chemistry instruction.

From January 2007 to June 2007 the above teachers will participate in monthly staff development sessions and will have guaranteed curricular technology support in their classrooms at the time they introduce a new program. They have agreed to present the final results of their respective projects to the district during the fall of 2007.
