Library Media Center

High School Library Media Center

The mission of the Oneonta High School Library Media Center is to provide an environment in which all individuals in the school are empowered to become life-long learners and effective users of information, ideas and technology.

The Library Media Center is centrally located in the high school to accommodate the research needs of the students and staff of the Oneonta High School. Through print and electronic sources, the OHS Library is a virtual "library without walls."

The OHS Library Media Center subscribes to many databases. These resources have authoritative information and can be accessed quickly and confidently by all students and staff from any internet site. These databases are password protected, which means you must type in a username and password for each database. All databases have built-in citation tools so your bibliography is done for you!
