The second annual Elementary Math Bowl Competition ( EMC4, EMC 5) was held June 6, 2018 at the Oneonta High school. Fourth grade students who proudly represented Greater Plains were Liam Casey, Reese Gelbsman, Anna Malikov, and Alex Bunn. 5th grade students representing the school were Alexandra Pentzien, Wyndam Withington, Gialina Ploutz, and Jackson Frazier. 5th grade alternate was Jackson Forbes.
Students competed against the other Oneonta elementary schools in Jeopardy rounds, an individual round, and a group logic challenge. Greater Plains proudly took home the gold for 5th grade. In addition, Liam Casey and Wyndam Withington took home medals for the individual competition.
All students took home a participation certificate for their hard work.
