OMS Library Mrs. Scimeca-Librarian Mrs. Jaffie-LTA The Oneonta Middle School Library supports students and learning through collaboration with teachers and by exploring the beauty of literature, the adventure of inquiry, and the importance of using information responsibly. The library collection includes over 13,000 books, 40 periodicals, 12 on-line database subscriptions, and 2 newspaper subscriptions.
Students are allowed to check-out 3 books at a time for two weeks with the possibility of renewing for an additional 2 weeks.
Students are strongly encouraged to use Inter-Library Loan to obtain books from other libraries, either for school or leisure reading needs.
