Greater Plains PTO

Our PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) welcomes each child and family to our Greater Plains Community. We encourage every parent and teacher to get involved in PTO. Our purpose is "the welfare of our children, both in and out of school, and improved communication between the home and school." PTO meetings take place on the first Monday of the month. The meetings begin at 6 pm in the GP library or on Zoom.

Here are some easy additional ways to support our school:Box Tops for Education graphic
  • Please click here and help support the PTO by shopping at Amazon. 4% of your purchase is donated to the GP PTO.
  • Clip, save, and turn in your Box Tops to your child's classroom teacher.  Click here to learn more about the Box Tops for Education Program.
  • Register your Price Chopper Advantage Card with the  Tools for Schools program offered by Price Chopper.  Simply go to and add the school code: 17080, your advantage card number and select your store. Then every time you use your card the school earns points toward supplies for the classrooms.

Meetings will take place in the GP library or on Zoom from 6 pm to 7 pm.  Meetings will take place on the first Monday of each month.
