 School Hours: 8:35-3:15 P.M.
All visitors/volunteers are required to check in at the main entrance.

Morning Program: Opens at 7:15 A.M.
(STUDENTS MUST BE REGISTERED TO ATTEND.)
Go to: http://www.oneontacsd.org/parents.cfm?subpage=387308 for more information.

Students may go to their classroom at 8:35 A.M.
Please do not go to the classroom prior to this time. This gives the teachers time to prepare for the activities of the day. Students should NOT be dropped off prior to 8:35 A.M., unless they are registered to attend the  Morning Program in the cafeteria.

Classes begin at 8:50 A.M.
Students are considered tardy after this time.  Many of the teachers plan seat work for the students at the beginning of the school day.  We appreciate your consideration in this matter.

The school day ends at 3:15 P.M.
Parents may wait outside of the building for their children. K-2 students will either go to the afterschool program, be dismissed directly to an adult by the cafeteria entrance, or board a bus to return home.  Students in grades 3-5 will either go to the afterschool program, independently meet an adult outside of the school at a prearranged location, or board a bus to return home.

Visitors to the School
All visitors are required to report to the main entrance, sign in, and get a school visitor badge. When you have completed the visit, please return to the main entrance to sign out. Students should be picked up or dropped off during the school day at the main entrance. Visitations to classrooms for any purpose require advanced permission from the building principal. This allows teachers the opportunity to arrange their schedules to accommodate such requests.

Student Attendance

Parents/Guardians are required by NY State, to submit a note of explanation to the school, if their child is absent, tardy or being dismissed early.

Tardy or dismissed students need to be signed in and out, in the main entrance by a parent or guardian.

Parents are asked to utilize the main entrance for the following reasons:
1. Checking in a tardy student
2. Signing out a dismissed student
3. Checking in a returning student
4. Bringing in items for their child
