December 2018 Community Assembly Highlights!
Thanks to all the Valleyview families who attended the "Valleyview Rocks!" community assembly on the afternoon of Friday, December 21st. New music teacher Mrs. Czarnecki led the entire school community in a festive selection of Christmas songs following last months singing of Hanukkah songs. Also, Mrs. Wood's 1st graders sang two holiday-themed songs and Mr. Sider's 3rd graders presented a terrific African drum performance. Reflex Math fluency achievers were recognized and Golden Rules certificate winners and Golden Ticket recipients for December were also acknowledged. And Mr. Baskin reviewed the new early-dismissal policy he would like parents to adopt on community assembly days - parents should look for a flyer coming home with their child this week. Thanks again to all the Valleyview families who joined us at our "Valleyview Rocks!" community assembly - we hope to see you at the next "Valleyview Rocks!" on Friday, January 25th!
