Kindergarteners Perform Surgery on Vowels!
Miss Connolly's Valleyview School Kindergarten class in May dressed up like vets for V day in their backwards countdown from Z to A. Students had to use tongs to perform vowel surgery on 5 different patients (a pug, pig, horse, cat and hamster). Their job was to figure out which vowel was needed to make the CVC word that matched a given picture. All vets wore gloves, a mask, a hat and lab coat. The patients are recovering and doing well!
