Yellowjackets win big in fall, winter sports
As we head into the spring sports season, we’re looking back on some of our athletes’ achievements so far this year. It’s been a great year for Yellowjackets sports and there’s much more to come! Here are some highlights from the fall and winter sports seasons:
Fall sports

Kylie McKee set a record in diving, breaking the 27-year-old record for most points in a meet
- Evan Sitts won the Southern Tier Athletic Conference golf championship in October with a 1-under-par 71
- The boys soccer team were Section IV Class B champions and STAC East champions, with Matt Shultz and Brad Morell selected to the All-State soccer team
- Paul Zimmer qualified for the New York state cross country meet
- Anna Bischoff set a record in swimming
Winter sports

Richie Serafin recorded his 100th win in wrestling. He was Section IV Champion and wrestled in the state championships
- Ava Eichler was named MVP of the Anthony C. Drago girls basketball championship
- Taylor Microni reached 1,000 points for her career, setting a school record for most 3-point shots made
- Gabe House set a school record in swimming in the 100-meter freestyle
