Census 2020
The COVID-19 crisis is having a major impact in our communities, our daily lives, and 2020 Census field operations.
Although the Census may not seem important at this time, responses to the Census determine political representation and how resources will be distributed to communities for the next 10 years.
Each person counted in the Census brings approximately $2,000 each year to our communities for education, healthcare, emergency services, roads and bridges, and community supports like nutrition, housing, heating, and employment. Census data also drives business decisions, such as where to invest in cellular and broadband infrastructure.
