Friday evening was a special one at Oneonta Middle School as students, families, and staff gathered for the OMS Welcome Back BBQ and Movie Night.

The OMS field was full of life as children of all ages tossed footballs, kicked soccer balls, played cornhole, and enjoyed the beautiful evening. Families found a spot on the grass, shared a BBQ dinner, caught up with friends, and simply enjoyed being together. Everywhere you looked, there were kids playing and families talking and laughing. It was wonderful to see so many members of our OMS community filling the field and starting the school year with an evening centered around fun and connection.

As the evening continued, many made their way inside to the OMS gymnasium for a showing of Minions and Monsters. Families settled in together and enjoyed the movie, bringing a fun night at OMS to a close.

The evening was incredibly well attended, and seeing so many students and families together made it especially meaningful. There is something pretty special about a school filled with families who simply want to spend time together, laugh, play, and enjoy one another's company.

A heartfelt thank you to the OMS Team and families for making another wonderful evening so special and for coming together to give our students such a fun start to the school year.
