On Saturday, September 27, the Oneonta Middle School and the YMCA hosted the second annual Splash of Color Run, presented by 5 Star Subaru. Held at Neahwa Park, the event brought together more than 200 pre-registered participants for an afternoon filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit.
From the start, the atmosphere was electric. Runners of all ages made their way through the color-filled course as upbeat music played and families cheered them on. Food trucks were on site, offering post-run refreshments as spectators and participants enjoyed the beautiful fall weather.
The day’s most memorable moment came after the run, when participants gathered for the much-anticipated color burst. With a countdown from the crowd, handfuls of color powder filled the sky in a brilliant display of celebration and community spirit.
The event was a wonderful celebration for students, families, and the greater Oneonta community. It was truly a great day for all ages, filled with smiles, movement, and memories.
