group of students

Yesterday, Oneonta Middle School inducted over 50 new members into its chapter of the National Junior Honor Society, bringing the total to more than 80 students in grades 7 and 8. These outstanding Yellowjackets were recognized for their scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Led by advisor Mrs. Mummenthey, the ceremony highlighted the students’ commitment to academic excellence, community involvement, and positive leadership. NJHS members maintain a 90% average and serve as representatives at events like 6th grade orientation, Open House, and more. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication!
