The Oneonta City School District hosted its first-ever “Touch the Bus” BBQ and Hiring Event yesterday at 108 Silas Lane, inviting community members to explore school buses up close and learn more about joining the Yellowjacket transportation team.
Attendees had the opportunity to sit behind the wheel—and even drive a full-size school bus—under the supervision of the OCSD Transportation Coordinator. The event also sparked interest in open positions, with a few applications submitted on site.
