VV PTO IS COLLECTING ITEMS FOR A FALL CALENDAR RAFFLE! What to donate: We are looking for items valued $25 or more Gift cards, singular items, or raffle baskets – some theme suggestions for baskets include: Spa Day, Pampered Pets, Caffeine Lovers, Rainy Day with a Book, Movie Night, Lottery Tickets, Game Night, Gardening, or anything else! Or, donate cash/check to PTO and we will shop for a raffle basket on your behalf Drop off donations to VV school Main Office before June 25, or when we get back to school in September! Raffle will run live the whole month of October! Questions? Contact Nicole Hecox, PTO Secretary at nicoshafer@gmail.com
CALENDAR RAFFLE Valleyview PTO is going to start the 24-25 school year with an October calendar raffle! What is a Calendar Raffle? PTO will collect prizes of $25 or more in value and assign each prize to a day in the month of October. Raffle drawings start October 1st. Every morning, a winner will be pulled and contacted based on the contact information provided during purchase. All tickets are put toward the entire month’s worth of drawing. This means a single ticket remains in the drawing until the final prize is handed out. When are tickets being sold? PTO is selling tickets for the raffle starting on the night of our Ice Cream Social, Friday, September 6, 2024 through Friday, October 25, 2024. Forms will be sent home with students in the fall, and PTO will be available for you to purchase in person a second time at our BINGO night on Friday, October 4, 2024. Tickets are $5 each. If someone buys 4 tickets, they get a bonus 5th ticket for $20. Each ticket puts them in the drawing for the entire month. It’s one giant pool. Though you can still buy tickets after October 1st, you will be eligible to win for less days of the raffle. Buy early! What does PTO need from parents? We need donations for the raffle itself! These donations can be brought directly to Valleyview School any time after the start of the school year and the office will store them in the PTO closet. Too many donations will never be a problem; we will combine for larger prizes or save them for the Winter Carnival! Helpful ways to donate: If you are willing to create a raffle basket, please do. It should be worth at least $25 in value and go with any theme for which you’d enjoy shopping. Some theme suggestions: Spa Day, Pampered Pets, Caffeine Lovers, Rainy Day with a Book, Movie Night, Lottery Tickets, Game Night, Gardening, or anything else! OR Purchase and donate a gift card OR Donate in cash to PTO and we will shop for a raffle basket on your behalf. We need you to buy raffle tickets! If you’re interested in any of the prizes we collect, support us by purchasing tickets. The calendar will be posted with prizes multiple times. The first one will be posted the night of the ice cream social and as we collect more prizes, we will share the calendar on Facebook as well as sending it home with the students. We need you to spread the word! Please let other parents, friends, neighbors, relatives know that we are having this raffle. The more we make, the more PTO can do for Valleyview kids!

White text on green background that says "We Promise to Say Something."
Say Something is written in a text bubble with the following words around it. Bullying, thoughts of harm, access to guns or weapons, recruiting for an attack, chronic loneliness, excessive irritability, direct threats, suddenly withdrawing, expressing a threat as a plan.
