Celebrating Excellence: OMS Principal's List Celebration

Celebrating Excellence: Oneonta Middle School's Principal's List Celebration

In a remarkable display of academic excellence, sixty-seven (67) students at Oneonta Middle School have earned the prestigious status of making the Principal's List for the first marking period. These outstanding students achieved an impressive overall average of 97, showcasing their dedication to academic success.

To honor their hard work and commitment, Principal Tom Molle expressed his admiration for these students, stating, "What you see here is the very definition of our WORK HARD PLAY HARD mentality. These students show up every day, put in the effort, and truly deserve a special event such as this. I am so proud of our nearly 20% of the student body earning a 97% or higher average. These students and their families deserve to be recognized!"

To celebrate this exceptional achievement, the Principal's List students were treated to a memorable afternoon at our local YMCA. The event allowed them to unwind, have fun, and enjoy the excellent facilities the YMCA has to offer, specifically the pool. It was a well-deserved reward for their academic diligence and outstanding performance.

Congratulations to all the students who earned a place on the Principal's List! Your dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence serve as an inspiration to your peers and a source of pride for the entire Oneonta Middle School community. Keep up the fantastic work!
