Dear Oneonta Resident,

The Oneonta City School District is proud to support Pre-Kindergarten Programs to families living in our school district. 

Pre-Kindergarten Programs provides a smooth transition from home to school. The classrooms are equipped with technology and student-centered materials. Books, blocks, dramatic play materials, art equipment, puzzles, games, and manipulatives enhance instruction and help structure play. 

Each Pre-Kindergarten classroom is staffed with a full-time certified teacher and a full-time classroom aide. With kindergarten in our sights, the programs provide a perfect balance of reading readiness skills and social development. 

The UPK Programs are FREE. Eligibility for this program is dependent on residency and age. All participants must reside in the Oneonta City School District area and they must turn four years of age on or before December 1, 2024.

Spots are limited. If you would like to enroll your child in this program please complete the application that is available under "UPK Registration". If you do not have access to a printer call 433-8273 to request a registration packet.
