For the Mid-Term exam you will be expected to:

1.   conjugate your verbs in the present, both past tenses, the immediate future (to go + another verb) and the conditional mode (would, should, could) : look at your gold sheets, notes and the flash cards below.

2.  write a story about a given scenario.  In this creative writing piece,  you must show a great variety of vocabulary.   French IV will write 125 words.  French V will write 150 words in the past tense.

3. read and answer questions from a 1-1/2 page story (It's not double-spaced.)

4. listen to teacher-read excerpts and answer questions about it.

5. write your opinion about a few topics we have covered (2-4 sentences: give opinion, describe, state why)

Topics: You do not need to memorize any historical facts

Les beaux-arts:  du romantisme au surréalisme

Le passé:  l'exposition universelle, les guerres:  franco-prussienne et la grande guerre, les années folles  

La routine:  ce que vous faites tlj

Le voyage: régions francophones, sites touristiques

Be able to produce your vocabulary well and not just recognize it.  The flash cards should help you get there. Keep checking for updates (flashcards).
