A Reminder from Principal Osborn: Stay Safe When Outside in the Snow!
Please use extreme caution when playing and walking near snow banks around town and school. Never play in a snowbank near the road! Large amounts of snow make it difficult for cars to see you. Be sure to take care when crossing the street as it is often difficult for both you and a car driver to see each another. In addition, be alert near the sides of buildings, as snow can suddenly shift and fall. And lastly, although snow forts and tunnels can be fun to make, never do this without proper adult supervision. Collapsing snow can cause suffocation.
